Our Journal Clinical Nephrology and Research (Pulsus Group) is a monthly, Peer reviewed and Open Access Journal which focuses on recent improvements and scientific advancements in the field of Clinical Nephrology. Our Journal promulgates all the recent clinical practices that have taken part in the field of Clinical Nephrology.

Recent News: Clinico- Pathological Features and predictors of End-stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in C3 glomerulopathy:

The term C3 glomerulopathy (C3G) describes renal disorders characterized by the presence of glomerular deposits composed of C3 in the absence of significant amounts of immunoglobulin (Ig). Histologic changes and predictors of renal outcome are not evaluated adequately in C3G. To characterize clinico pathologic features and predictors of renal outcome in C3G. We retrospectively analysed all the kidney biopsies done in the past 5 years (May 2013 to April 2018) in department of Nephrology at a tertiary care centre in New Delhi.

(2) Purple Urine Bag Syndrome:

An 83-year-old white male with past medical history of cerebrovascular accident, urinary incontinence with indwelling Foley catheter, atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidaemia, and systolic cardiomyopathy was brought by family for purple discoloration of Foley tubing and urinary bag for last 2 days (Figure 1). Patient complained of malaise and mild constipation. He had no history of trauma to the catheter. He denied fever, chills or dysuria. Physical examination was unremarkable with no suprapubic tenderness.
